Green Card Photo

The Green Card Photo is unlike any other photos you can get. The Green Card Photos are subject to strict requirements and can delay or disqualify an applicant if they are not turned in properly. The Green Card Photo must be taken within the last 6 months older photos are not accepted. You may not turn in snap shots or photos from any vending machine this is not an acceptable photo.
The Green Card Photos must be taken with a white or off white background and most recommended by a photographer or professional. Doing the photo yourself is not recommended due to the many requirements. There are several specifications to the photo the face must be full and centered you must make sure all of the head is visible in the picture; from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin. All applicants are required to have one Green Card Photo with your application.
All Green Card Photos must be in color and there are no acceptations. If you have headgear on in the photo it will not be accepted unless you wear it daily for religious purposes. The Green Card photos must be done in your normal street wear; the clothes that you wear daily. If you wear robes or any other attire it is fine as long as it is for religious purposes.
The Green Card Photo must show your full face and front view as well as have eyes wide open if you are blinking or have eyes closed the photo will not work. There are no hats or sunglasses with tints worn. Sunglasses maybe worn for medical purposes but you must provide them with a medical document stating so.
The photos that are on digital camera must be done at a high resolution of at least 1 mega pixel. It you can not provide this the photo will not be accepted. While street wear is required no uniforms or camouflage is not to be worn for the photo. There are no acceptations. If you are not sure how to meet all of these specifications or have any questions it is recommended that you use a professional for the Green Card Photo last year several applicants were disqualified because their Green Card Photo was not done right. It is highly recommended that you find someone else to meet the specified requirements to help your application go through smooth and without incident.
