Most did submit the forms themselves of did have some agency do it for them. Most applications which did not have the photographs of all the family members were rejected. A successfully registered E-DV form gives a confirmation screen which can be printed out for future reference. All the results are personally mailed to the qualifying winners in postal mail. None of the results will be e-mailed. People who do not win will not be notified. However more than 50,000 entrants would be selected in the draw because the embassy estimates that most may not qualify in the interview and this is also done in a way to assure that all the 50,000 immigrant quota is filled.
