US Immigration Center

The USCIS or United States Citizenship and Immigration Services is the authoritative body, which is the US Immigration Center which governs all the rules and visa sanctioning issues related to United States Immigration Norms.

The US Immigration Center plays the role of governing the immigration and naturalization settlement functions. It frames and establishes the Immigration Service Policies and preferences. The US Immigration Center performs the following duties:-
Scrutinizes the immigrant visa call petitions and naturalization petitions.
Decides on the asylum and refugee applications.
Governs the various duties performed by the branch US consulates all over the world and negotiates and carries out the amendments performed by the INS.
There are more than 15,000 Federal employees working over all the branch US consulates in various countries which are entirely governed by the USCIS which is the US Immigration Center which is a part of the Department of Homeland Security.

The US Immigration Center performs various services to the visa applicants, authorized agencies forwarding the applications, community related bodies, and the citizens of the country.

The US Immigration Center officially called the USCIS governs the following related proceedings for U.S. Citizenship, LPR (Lawful Permanent Residence), AOS (Adjustment of Status) family related immigration, marriage related immigration, business related immigration, vacation related immigration, adoption related immigration, employment related immigration, authorizing call petition for employment for prospective overseas non-U.S. employee with labor certification or without, manages adoption related application proceedings for inter-country adoptions, sanctioning of refugee and asylum status as authorized by law, validating visa for foreign students and replacing mutilated or lost immigration document and citizenship proofs. The US immigration center also offers renewal of green card and change in information of green card or citizenship proofs.

The US Immigration Center also organizes the Diversity Visa Lottery Program to entertain population from countries which do not have more than 50,000 immigrants per year. The US Immigration Center governs all the above stated duties and it also answers queries and works to device solutions to problems that the citizens or social interest groups or other related government bodies bring in related to immigration issues and needs.

The US Immigration Center functions in accordance with the rules and laws that is framed by the Department of Homeland Security, which controls that working architecture of the USCIS and the related branch consulates all over the world. The laws governing the immigration issues are amended from time to time and are published in the USCIS website.
